Seventh grade syllabus includes Ramayana, we'll be following Sri Rajagopalachari's Ramayana book. Later half of year will be following Key to Success book, based on Vibhishana Gita.
Today we played the two truth & one lie icebreaker game, had fun playing the game and getting to know each other. Had general introduction to the year, and how a typical class runs. Brief introduction to Ramayana was given.
This year children are also going to learn chanting of chapter 4 Bhagat Gita verses. Each class two to three verses will be learnt.
In addition, we'll be teaching them couple of bhajans year long, Rama dhyana sloka, Nama Ramayana and Vibhishena Gita.
Please make sure children have my prayers book, this can be bought at bookstore.
