April 5, 2024-Grade 5(Friday)
Hari Om Parents,
The class was started with Likhitha Jaapa, Daily Prayers,Ganesha Pancharatnam and Nirvana Shatakam.
Since Shivramji and Anuradha both were unavailable, Anajana ji took care of the class. Thank you so much Anjana ji.
Kids were asked about what was done in class so far. They discussed the back story of Sisupala.
There were two guards who always guarded Vaikunta who were known as Jaya and Vijaya.
When SaptaRishis went to take darshan of srimannarayana the guards stopped them telling them that it was not right to visit SrimanNarayana. When saptharishi's insisted they mocked the sapta rishis and the rishis got angry and cursed them to be born on earth by taking either 7 lives of being devotees of Srimana Naryana or 3 lives as hating or enemies of the lord.
Jaya and Vijaya said that they cannot live leaving Sriman Naryana and said they would rather be enemies of Sriman Narayana and get back at the earliest.
Hence they took the birth as
Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu in first life. Ravana and Kumbhakarna in their second life.
Kamsa and Sisupala in their third life. Hence the birth of Sisupala and he gets killed in the hands of lord sri Krishna.
With Om and Pranams
